Saturday Hangouts is designed to provide an opportunity for adults 18 and older to engage in a wide array of activities that promote friendship and social interaction. Each session takes place on the beautiful property of the Salvation Army London Village, where the entertainment comes to us!

Events
September 6 - Beads and Bracelets
Today, we will make bracelets and keychains using beads and other crafting materials. All materials are provided. Bring your ideas for great gifts or keep them for yourself.
September 20 - Outdoor Games
We aren’t quite ready to say goodbye to summer, so let’s take advantage of the nice weather while we can! We will be playing games in the backyard, so please come prepared for outdoor activities. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the games to the gym.
This will be a friendly competition, and there may be a prize or two for those who show us the best sportsmanship. We look forward to seeing you there!
October 4 - Kitty Krafts and Kisses
We enjoyed watching the new Humane Society being built, and now it’s open with many animals waiting to be adopted. We want to welcome our new furry friends by making some special toys, and we might even get some playtime with them!
October 25 - Happy Halloween!
Who says Halloween is just for kids? Come in your costume for an afternoon filled with all things spooky! Enjoy games, crafts, and treats! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. We look forward to a boo-tastic day!

Our Saturday Hangouts on September 21, 2024 was a total HIT! The puppies were adorable, and everyone had a blast!
Thanks to Emily, our amazing Saturday Hangouts staff member and foster mom to 5 pups from @SCAARlondon Animal Rescue! She shared all about the responsibilities of caring for dogs and the fostering process—such a valuable lesson!
Plus, all the puppies are up for adoption! This was serious cuteness overload!

This three-hour program runs bi-weekly on Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
$35 Payment is required upon arrival in cash, cheque, or through direct billing.
We are unable to provide one-to-one support/supervision for participants.
If this type of assistance is required to participate in certain activities, a support person must accompany him/her.
