Saturday Hangouts is designed to provide an opportunity for adults 18 and older to engage in a wide array of activities that promote friendship and social interaction. Each session takes place on the beautiful property of the Salvation Army London Village, where the entertainment comes to us!

Saturday, November 1, 2025 - Games Day


Join us for an exciting afternoon of friendly competition and socializing! We will be playing a variety of games, with the highlight being the 7-Up card game. Each player will focus on their numbers, aiming to be the first to "get out." Get ready to roll up your sleeves and enjoy some friendly fun!

Saturday, November 15, 2025 - DIY Superhero


Today, we will be making our very own superhero capes! Bring your creativity and excitement as we use fabric, glue, and embellishments to create unique designs. We will practice hand-eye coordination while exploring our creative sides in a fun Saturday Hangouts atmosphere.

Saturday, December 13, 2025 - Christmas Celebration


As another year comes to a close, we invite you to join us for some festive fun!

October 25 - Happy Halloween!


Who says Halloween is just for kids? Come in your costume for an afternoon filled with all things spooky! Enjoy games, crafts, and treats! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. We look forward to a boo-tastic day!

Our Saturday Hangouts on September 21, 2024 was a total HIT! The puppies were adorable, and everyone had a blast!


Thanks to Emily, our amazing Saturday Hangouts staff member and foster mom to 5 pups from @SCAARlondon Animal Rescue! She shared all about the responsibilities of caring for dogs and the fostering process—such a valuable lesson! 


Plus, all the puppies are up for adoption! This was serious cuteness overload!

This three-hour program runs bi-weekly on Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.


$40 Payment is required upon arrival in cash, cheque, or through direct billing.


We are unable to provide one-to-one support/supervision for participants.

If this type of assistance is required to participate in certain activities, a support person must accompany him/her.
